THE ECONOMICAL ALTERNATIVE The DataScribe Junior is Shockwatch® New Zealand’s low cost, single-channel temperature recording solution.  Junior doesn’t skimp on accuracy or reliability.  In fact it delivers a .5 degree resolution over a range of -40° to 240°F.  Accuracy is an impressive +/- 1°F guaranteed.  Like the rest of the DataScribe line, it works with our WinDataSoft graphing and analysis software.

The DataScibe Junior precision temperature recorder is priced less than most low-end paper strip chart recorders, yet delivers faster response time, greater range, resolution and accuracy.  The paper chart recorder has been an industry standard for more than 60 years, however, their bi-metal sensors and mechanical design are not capable of providing the accuracy and resolution required for today’s users.

The DataScribe Jr. delivers twice the range, four times the accuracy, and six times the deployment life of the leading strip-chart transit recorder.  Yet, costs substantially less! In addition, Junior’s status light indicates when it’s operating and provides and immediate indication if your critical limits have been exceeded.  The Junior also includes a convenient delayed start capacity.

EFFORTLESS OPERATION

With the DataScribe Jr there’s no programming to learn or cables to run.  Its status light blinks an immediate pass/fail indication of your critical limits.  Alarms are date and time stamped to show you exactly when a problem occurred. The alarm and min/max delay feature allows time for the DataScribe to equilibrate before testing your critical limits.

Like the rest of the DataScribe line, the Junior works with any PC running our proprietary WinDataSoft software and can be used with the Transporter™ data shuttle.  You can instantly spot trends in the big picture and then zoom in on any part of your data for pinpoint accuracy.  DataScribe deployment and data retrieval, high quality plots and comprehensive exports are all supported with point & click simplicity.

Get the Real Picture

The DataScribe’s high speed data link won’t keep you waiting several minutes while data is transferred. Data recovery and graphical analysis is quick and capable.  After retrieving the data, then:
• Graph or list the data to the screen in the scale of your choice. You can scroll through the data record, or look at the daily highs and lows.
• Zoom in on key sections for a closer look.
• Pinpoint the exact time and value of any point on graphs that display real-time measurements.
• Display multiple plots on a single screen.
• Check and calibrate DataScribe units with ease.
• Store comments using the Notepad – allowing summary information to be entered from the keyboard and stored in the DataScribe unit.
• Assign a common name to each DataScribe Jr. with the Alias feature.

POWERFUL OUTPUT

High quality plots and reports are no problem. Datasoft-PC supports supports most dot matrix or laser printers.  You can print razor-sharp graphs or a tabular list of the data plotted on the screen.  Defining the data is easy; just zoom in on the section of interest and only that data will be plotted or printed.  Exporting the data to your favourite spreadsheet or database program is just as simple.
