Tiltwatch is a state-of-the-art monitor that will indicate red if your container has been tilted on its side or completely upended. Normal movement or road shock will have no effect. Tiltwatch will not activate due to acute take-off angles in aircraft. It’s fair to you and your carriers.
The Tiltwatch incorporates a vacuum seal that eliminates any effects of humidity or temperature changes.
The self-stick backing utizes the most aggressive 5 mil acrylic adhesive available assuring a permanent bond on all but the roughest containers. When used with its 5” x 8” companion label, the contact area is increased (along with its visibility), which forms a more permanent bond to the host container.
| Non-resettable/Auto-Arm feature | Tiltwatch features a simple one step application. Removing the adhesive backing automatically arms the device. Once activated the Tiltwatch cannot be reset. It is impossible to disarm the Tiltwatch once it has been applied. This is because the arming mechanism is secured facing the shipment. Other tilt indicators that arm from the front or side are subject to tampering and environmental conditions.
| The Tiltwatch program is prevention – pure and simple | A key element to the success of Tiltwatch is its simplicity. The program includes the Tiltwatch indicator and an alert sticker to be affixed to the bill of lading. It cautions the carrier and consignee that your shipment is being monitored. One alert sticker is included free with each Tiltwatch.
