ShockWatch® & TiltWatch® Implementation Guide
Monitor Handling and Reduce Damage with Visual Indicators
Implementing ShockWatch® and TiltWatch® indicators is a straightforward and effective strategy to monitor handling and minimise product damage during transit and storage.
ShockWatch® Impact Indicators
ShockWatch® indicators are single-use, tamperproof devices that adhere directly to your shipments. They provide immediate visual evidence of mishandling by turning from white to red when an impact exceeds a predetermined threshold.
Key Features:
Immediate Proof of Rough Handling: Visual indication deters mishandling and encourages accountability.
Variety of Sensitivities: Available in multiple G-force thresholds to suit different product sensitivities.
Tamperproof Design: Ensures the integrity of the indicator throughout the shipping process.
Easy Application: Adheres directly to the product or packaging.
TiltWatch® Tilt Indicators
TiltWatch® indicators are designed to monitor goods that must remain upright. They provide clear visual evidence if a package has been tilted beyond acceptable limits during handling.
TiltWatch® XTR:
Activation Angle: Turns red if tilted past 80°, remaining unaffected by normal handling conditions.
Tamperproof: Cannot be reset or tampered with once activated.
Easy Application: Adheres directly to the package surface.
TiltWatch® Plus:
Comprehensive Monitoring: Indicates the direction and degree of tilt, as well as complete overturn.
Activation Range: Detects tilt in 10° increments starting from 30°.
Inversion Indicator: Provides evidence of complete overturn.
Serialised: Each unit has a unique identifier for traceability.
Both indicators are part of a broader program that promotes careful handling, reduces damage, and enhances accountability among shippers, carriers, and consignees.
By integrating ShockWatch® and TiltWatch® indicators into your shipping and handling processes, you can significantly reduce product damage, enhance accountability, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
